Copy to Canton
No. 137
sir,
Government House,
Hong Kong
19
27th August, 1929.
I have the honour to forward for your infor-
mation copies of letters from the Director of the
Aviation Bureau of Kwang tung to the Manager of the Far-
East Aviation Company, and from the latter to this
Government, and to request th t this application may be
forwarded to the Chinese Government with the least
possible delay.
The Manager of the Far-st Aviation Company
expects the first machine to arrive in the Colony about
the end of October and would be glad if permission could
be granted by that date.
I should be glad if you could give the
Aviation Company's application your full support as
progress in commercial aviation between Hong Kong and
China will be impossible without the cordial co-operation
of the Chinese Authorities.
I have, etc.,
(signed)
His Britannic Majesty's Minister,
PEKING.
C. CLEMENTI.
Governor, &c.
